Most people choose to have the skip bin placed on the verge with the ramp facing the driveway or the house. We can put your skip in other locations, but please be aware that although due care is taken, we don not accept responsibility for any damaged caused.

Once the skip has been positioned, it's critical that you DO NOT move it. The reason for this is that the position you move it to may not be appropriate for our truck to pick it up from (turning circles, trees, etc). On the day of collection, please ensure there is clear access to the bin from 8am.

Asbestos, car batteries, tyres, paint tins, oils, gas bottles, acids, solvents, flourescent lights, chemicals, medical waste, food, large tree stumps (larger than 300mm x 300mm), herbicides & pesticides, explosives and other environmentally unfriendly substances.

We have a range of Skip Bin sizes for hire: 2m³, 3m³, 4m³, 5m³ 6m³, 8m³ and 10m³.

We also have a range of Hooklift Bin sizes for hire: 10m³, 12m³, 15m³, 20m³ and 30m³. 

Our trucks weigh approximately 8 tonnes before they are loaded. Unfortunately, driving on lawns after rain can naturally cause some damage.

Yes, we can. Please call Biffa Skip Bins during our office hours to discuss what we can do to assist.

Yes you can. Please call us before 5pm the day before your bin is scheduled to be picked up to arrange a later pickup date for you. Please note that additional charges will apply - $70 per week (7 days) or $20 per day.

Generally no. It should be noted that it does however depend on the size of skip bin and what the skip is being filled with. If you do have concerns about possible damage, we recommend that you provide 2 or 3 lengths of timber to place under the skip bin. The timber should be not less than 2m in length.
